Gürlek Dental Clinic (Gürlek Diş Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği) was founded by its founding dentist Dr. Abidin Gürlek in the Çukurova district of Adana with the vision of providing oral and dental health services of "global standards" to both local and international patients. Our 300 m² facility is equipped with modern dental technology and operates under sterilization and hygiene protocols that comply with national and international standards.
Our clinic is licensed as a polyclinic under the Turkish "Regulation on Private Health Institutions Providing Oral and Dental Health Services", and all of its activities are supervised by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health. Gürlek Dental Clinic has an experienced team of six dentists. Every case is assessed by the most suitable dentist for the treatment concerned and, where necessary, planned through multidisciplinary consultations. Having both a periodontology specialist and a dentist with a PhD in orthodontics on our team helps ensure that treatment decisions are made within a scientific framework.
Dr. Hatice Selen Yıldız
Periodontology Specialist (TR MoH Specialty Registration: 168417). A graduate of Çukurova University who completed her periodontology residency at the same university; her practice focuses on gum disease, periodontal surgery, gum recession, pink aesthetics and peri-implant health monitoring.
Dr. Duygu Sevgi
Dentist with a PhD in Orthodontics. Metal and ceramic bracket systems, self-ligating brackets, clear aligner (Invisalign-type) treatment, and orthodontic assessment in children and adults.
Dr. Zehra Erkek
A graduate of Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry. Composite fillings, night guards, fixed/removable/complete/partial dentures, implant-supported prostheses and cosmetic restorations.
Dr. Ahmet Can Kerimoğlu
A graduate of Kırıkkale University Faculty of Dentistry, holding a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. General dentistry, pediatric dentistry, preventive care and dental radiographic assessment.

Transparent communication, documented safety
Patient satisfaction and safety are among the highest priorities at Gürlek Dental Clinic. An individualized treatment plan is prepared for every patient, and open, transparent communication is maintained before, during and after treatment. Alternative treatment options, treatment duration, potential risks and the recovery period are explained to every patient in detail, and written informed consent forms are used.
All materials used in clinical practice (composite resins, implant systems, prosthetic materials, consumables) are sourced from CE-certified manufacturers in compliance with international standards. With the patient's informed consent, product details such as the implant system or composite brand used can be shared.
Sterilization protocol
Sterilization processes at Gürlek Dental Clinic are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Turkish Ministry of Health Regulation on Private Health Institutions Providing Oral and Dental Health Services. The main steps of our sterilization protocol are:
- Collection and Pre-Washing of Contaminated Instruments: After each patient procedure, all hand instruments are transported to the sterilization room in secure containers and pre-washed.
- Ultrasonic Cleaning: Instruments are treated in an ultrasonic cleaner with enzymatic solution for the duration specified in the protocol.
- Drying and Packaging: Cleaned instruments are dried and packaged in medical wrapping paper or pouches.
- Autoclave Sterilization: Packaged instruments are sterilized in an EN 13060-compliant Class B autoclave at 134°C. Sterilization indicators (Bowie-Dick, class 5/6 chemical indicators, biological indicator) are used for every load.
- Recording and Monitoring: The parameters of every sterilization cycle (pressure, temperature, time) and indicator results are documented.
- Single-Use Materials: Needles, cartridges, suction tips, protective barriers and many examination supplies are single-use and are discarded after each patient.

Gürlek Dental Clinic holds the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate (No: ST-5156) issued by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health General Directorate of Health Services, authorizing it to serve international patients. This certificate documents that our clinic operates under the "Regulation on International Health Tourism and Tourist Health" and in accordance with the "International Health Tourism Health Facility Competency Criteria".
The following services are coordinated for our international patients: preliminary digital consultation (by sharing radiographs and photographs), delivery of the treatment plan and estimated cost, airport–hotel–clinic transfer coordination, accommodation recommendations, post-treatment follow-up and remote consultation. All of these services are carried out within the scope of the regulation, using contracts compliant with it.
